Video Editor

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the creative team, producers, and (in most cases) the capture team to conceptualize and deliver high-quality trailers for a variety of platforms and uses
• Implement sound design, music, and voice-over elements to enhance the emotional impact of each trailer
• Partner with the graphics team to apply visual effects and motion graphics that highlight key moments, dialogue, and character expressions

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve
• Proven experience editing trailers
• A strong portfolio demonstrating a deep understanding of storytelling, pacing, and action-driven editing
• Experience integrating VFX and sound design
• A strong grasp of narrative structure, pacing, and emotional tone in trailer editing

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience editing trailers for video games or cinematic projects
• Knowledge of multiplayer games, RPGs, and FPS titles
• Passion for video games and storytelling
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas eloquently
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven production environment
