Video Editor
About the role
We're seeking a Video Editor to join a premier innovator based in East Moline, Illinois. The role offers a competitive pay rate of $29.00 per hour for a 1-year contract.
Responsibilities
- Edit compelling video content to elevate the brand.
- Assist in-studio and in-field video shoots, running grip and operating video equipment.
- Contribute to studio operations and maintain the video library by curating, cutting, and cataloging clips.
- Collaborate with internal clients, stakeholders, and external agency partners throughout the editing process.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of professional video editing experience.
- A four-year University Degree (or equivalent experience) in editing, motion graphics, or videography.
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop or Illustrator.
- Familiarity with professional cinema camera equipment (Sony, Canon, Panasonic, RED) and various file formats, codecs, and workflows.
- Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills.
- Physical ability to handle a variety of environments, lift and carry gear up to 50 lbs, and work in all weather conditions.
- Proficiency in Mac OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic audio editing.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced settings, self-start, and collaborate as needed, and travel up to 10% of the time.
- Skills in motion graphics, 2D/3D animation, experience with heavy equipment, and corporate brand editing.
