Job Description

Promote and sell company annuity products using consultative and suggestive sales techniques to meet or exceed individual and team profitability and recruiting goals.

Maintain strong knowledge of company products and identify creative ways to market products to producers using advanced marketing concepts.

Provide producers with product information, quotations, licensing guidance, and materials needed to write business.

Demonstrate detailed understanding of annuities, life insurance, and applicable tax code as it relates to the industry.

Introduce producers to value-added programs and clearly communicate program benefits.

Identify, develop, and maintain contact with potential and existing producers.

Maintain and update producer information in the appropriate database systems.

Follow up with producers on product quotes, materials sent, and new business received.

Identify and help resolve producer issues by coordinating with appropriate internal partners.

Provide producers with responsive support and problem-solving assistance across all areas of the business.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of prior sales, marketing, customer service, or telemarketing experience required.
  • High school diploma required; post-secondary education in progress preferred.
  • Active Life and Health license and active FINRA Series 6 or 7 required, or ability to obtain within 180 days of start date.
  • 4–5 years of prior marketing or sales experience in financial services or insurance preferred.
  • Four-year degree preferred.

Physical Requirements And Travel

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including attendance at evening business functions as needed.
  • Periods of stooping, bending, sitting, standing, and prolonged computer use may be required.
