Vice President, Treasury

About the Role

The primary focus of this role is to manage all strategic cash management initiatives, oversee global cash management and liquidity activities, report on related activities, and execute fund movements as necessary. The incumbent will enhance enterprise business decisions through automation and process improvement, cash flow forecasting, and other financial modeling. This role requires proximity to our Conshohocken, PA Headquarters.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains oversight of daily cash position, associated reporting, and ensures timely processing of transactions through bank platforms by Treasury staff.
  • Anticipates and recommends short-term borrowing or investment needs to management and collaborates with internal stakeholders to determine the best source of additional liquidity.
  • Develops, monitors, and analyzes a six-month cash liquidity forecast, reconciling changes with FP&A and Accounting, and prepares related reporting packages for management.
  • Manages the company’s initiative to migrate to a global banking platform with one provider and serves as the Treasury lead for integrating newly acquired entities.
  • Assists the CFO in maintaining compliance with all debt agreements, including preparing covenant calculations, compliance certificates, and forecasts.
  • Supports CFO with risk management activities, including insurance renewals, interest rate hedging, and other risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensures day-to-day Treasury and banking needs for all company entities are met and manages company cash management banking relationships.
  • Reviews, recommends, and assists with negotiations of Treasury contracts with banks as needed.
  • Maintains equipment financing relationships with manufacturing partners and coordinates with Accounting for proper recording of financing arrangements.
  • Monitors existing bank account services and evaluates changes to banking products, services, and platforms.
  • Oversees updates to company bank signatory or other bank documentation and serves as the primary contact for bank-initiated regulatory reviews (KYC, FBAR, OFAC, etc.).
  • Reviews and approves Treasury month-end closing activities and provides monthly or quarterly reporting on bank and merchant card fees to management.
  • Oversees and reviews SOX compliance within the department, ensuring proper controls over cash receipts, disbursements, and general Treasury activities.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality and functions within HIPAA guidelines.
  • Completes assigned compliance training and other educational programs as required.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned during and outside of normal business hours.

  • Responsible for selection, hiring, onboarding, and training of qualified staff, providing regular feedback.

  • Develops, coordinates, and enforces systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
  • Establishes annual goals and objectives for the department based on the organization’s strategic goals.
  • Ensures achievement of organizational performance and retention goals, including timely completion of performance evaluations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Fifteen (15) years of progressive experience in Finance, Finance Transformation, and/or Project Management.
  • Experience with a publicly traded company or other aggressive-growth business.
  • CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) designation is preferred.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Work environment may be stressful, with fluctuating office activities and work levels.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, stretch, stand, and sit for extended periods.
  • Subject to long periods of sitting and exposure to computer screens.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions of wrists, hands, and/or fingers due to extensive computer use.
  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds as needed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • May be exposed to angry or irate customers or patients.
  • Must be able to travel as needed.
  • Mental ability to lead others, change processes, analyze data, problem-solve, and think critically in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers, demonstrating empathy, compassion, courtesy, and respect for privacy.
