About the OpportunityThe company is seeking a seasoned technology operations leader with direct experience in data, data operations, hosting infrastructure (both public and private cloud), development operations, and cybersecurity. Your Area of FocusLead the adoption and usage of advanced AI technologies across the operations organization to improve overall internal efficiency, accelerating product and business outcomes.Stay informed on leading technology operational trends and AI advancements, identifying creative solutions to incorporate for efficiency and greater throughput.Provide leadership, vision, and strategy to drive automation, stability, and availability of the technology infrastructure, leveraging cloud and on-premise technologies to support business agility and maximize efficiencies.Drive innovation across security, data privacy, data and development operations, and infrastructure.Define the technology operations strategy and roadmap to support current and future business needs for scalability, growth capacity, and quality of service (performance, reliability, and business continuity).Define requirements for new technology implementations and communicate them clearly to key business stakeholders.Partner with senior leaders across the business to realize measurable outcomes aligned with business expectations.Drive the execution of security, data, infrastructure, and technology operations initiatives and projects to achieve expected scalability, performance, and availability targets.Assess and communicate risks associated with technology-related investments and purchases.Support business growth initiatives by aligning the technology operations vision with the business strategy.Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for technology operations spending and initiatives.Develop and implement the people, process, and technologies necessary for meeting current and future customer demands.Define, maintain, and present metrics to the executive and leadership team on a regular basis, including overall security, data, and infrastructure health, risk areas, productivity stats, and overall health of technology operations.Define, measure, and improve technology standards across the organization to establish a technology-enabled competitive edge.Provide reliable due diligence and technical assessments of potential acquisitions. Your Professional QualificationsBachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information systems, or engineering.15 years of experience managing technology operations in the fields of development operations, data, infrastructure, and cybersecurity.Extensive knowledge and direct experience with AI tools and methodologies, including their application to improve operational efficiency.Strong technical background in an environment with a heterogeneous mix of on-premise, hosted, and cloud hardware and software.Experience leading operational technologies for deployment, maintenance, and monitoring of large-scale SaaS platforms.Experience with hosting operations and leading cloud migrations with AWS, Azure, and GCP.Experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts to bring the best solutions while optimizing expense costs.Strong executive communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate technical details and strategy to non-technical leadership.Demonstrated success leading modernization and transformation initiatives across data and infrastructure environments.Strong knowledge of cybersecurity methodologies and practices to stay ahead of growing security threats.Demonstrated success in leading large, diverse global teams.Effective people leader who attracts and retains strong talent.Expert knowledge of technology environments, including networks, operating systems, databases, application and web servers.Technical experience with systems networking, databases, infrastructure, and user support.Experience defining standardized operating procedures and services across various operational disciplines.Experience in strategic technology planning, execution, and policy development.Experience with business processes, management, and budgeting.Strong understanding of project management principles.Proven experience in planning, organization, and development.Demonstrated ability to apply technology solutions to business problems.Experience with acquisition due diligence and integrations. For this position, the compensation range reflects a national average pay band. Specific compensation is determined by experience, qualifications, role requirements, and geographic zone. The geo-zone system ensures pay is competitive for the location, recognizing varying costs of labor. The four geo zones are:Zone 1: National AverageZone 2: Moderately Higher Cost RegionsZone 3: High-Cost RegionsZone 4: Lower-Cost Regions Beyond base compensation, eligible employees have the opportunity for variable pay and a robust benefits package. In compliance with California pay transparency laws, the specific compensation range applicable to your Geo Zone will be shared during the initial talent screen.
