About the role
The Vice President of Strategy, People & Advancement is an integral member of Community Reach Center’s Business Services Division and serves as a senior leader responsible for advancing organizational growth, sustainability, and external positioning.
Essential Functions
- Develop and lead organization-wide strategic growth plans that support service line expansion, long-term financial sustainability, market positioning, and access to care.
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new funding streams, including grants, contracts, philanthropic opportunities, public/private partnerships, and other revenue-generating opportunities aligned with CRC’s mission and strategic priorities.
- Lead and coordinate grant strategy, including opportunity identification, internal readiness assessment, proposal development support, implementation planning, and post-award coordination in partnership with finance, clinical, and operational leaders.
- Build, strengthen, and maintain strategic relationships with community partners, referral sources, government agencies, school districts, healthcare organizations, funders, advocacy organizations, and other key stakeholders.
- Monitor state and federal policy, legislation, regulatory changes, funding trends, and behavioral health system developments that may impact CRC’s operations, strategy, payer relationships, or service delivery model.
- Translate policy and market changes into clear recommendations, strategic opportunities, and action plans for the Chief Executive Team and other organizational leaders.
- Partner with the Chief Executive Team to develop outreach strategies, stakeholder presentations, community engagement efforts, and external messaging that increase awareness of CRC services, programs, and strategic initiatives.
- Provide leadership oversight for marketing and communications functions, including supervision of the Marketing Coordinator and coordination with contracted marketing, communications, and event planning vendors.
- Provide executive-level oversight of the Human Resources department in partnership with HR leadership and organizational leaders, ensuring people operations are aligned with CRC’s culture, workforce strategy, compliance expectations, and organizational goals.
- Support talent-related initiatives at a strategic level, including workforce planning, leadership development priorities, retention strategies, employee engagement, and alignment of HR practices with organizational growth needs.
- Cultivate donor, philanthropic, and community investment relationships that strengthen CRC’s ability to sustain and expand mission-driven services.
- Serve as a key leader in planning and coordinating CRC internal and external events that support partnership development, community visibility, employee engagement, and organizational advancement.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Behavioral Health, Public Health or related field
- MBA preferred
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare or behavioral health business development, strategic growth, or outreach leadership
- Experience with market analysis, referral development, and service line expansion preferred
- Experience working within behavioral health, substance use treatment, community mental health, or integrated care settings strongly preferred

Pay Information
Salary Range: $175,000-$190,000/yr
Eligible for Bilingual Stipend ($250/month)
