Vice President, Strategy & Corporate Development
About the role
The Vice President of Strategy & Corporate Development plays a critical leadership role in shaping and delivering the company's most high-impact strategic programs. This role leads a small, high-caliber team responsible for driving alignment, strategic acceleration, and enterprise-level value creation and directly engages with the Executive Leadership Team in a meaningful way.
Responsibilities
Own a portfolio of strategic programs that enable Agility's humanoid leadership focused on sustainable growth.
Drive executional discipline, risk mitigation, and milestone delivery across strategic programs under the Chief Business Officer.
Lead strategic identification and evaluation of potential M&A and partnership opportunities aligned with Agility's roadmap, particularly in areas of AI, safety, and humanoid platform technologies for integration, and commercial acceleration.
Support investor and Board engagement with analysis and recommendations tied to growth initiatives.
Build and maintain an external network of partners to accelerate product adoption and category leadership.
Lead CBO-sponsored initiatives that drive organic and inorganic growth, including new market activations, geographic expansion, and industry adjacency explorations.
Partner with leaders to identify, validate, and operationalize new channels of value creation.
Partner with Product organization to support strategy development for key verticals, including logistics, manufacturing, automotive, defense, and others, ensuring Agility's humanoid platform aligns with the highest-value use cases.
Evaluate and design partnership frameworks that extend beyond commercial contracts, like ecosystem integration and platform standardization.
Directly engage with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) on a regular basis to ensure initiatives remain on track, ensuring visibility and accountability.
Drive OKR alignment and provide visibility across the ELT to support and drive achievement.
Foster a culture of analytical rigor, high-bar output, and rapid thinking within the team.
Establish operating cadence, program reviews, and executive reporting frameworks in partnership with the ELT.
Partner across the ELT to support enterprise problem solving, prioritization, and alignment on strategic imperatives.
Lead cross-functional teams across org-wide employee meetings and cadences to ensure the entire organization is advised on the company's progress against OKRs, educated on initiatives within the company, and informed on the latest cross-functional updates.
Requirements
15+ years of experience in strategy, operations, corporate development, or program leadership within emerging technology, robotics, or high-growth sectors.
Top-tier MBA or Engineering Degree.
Prior experience at a top-three management consulting firm (McKinsey, Bain, or BCG), ideally with exposure to technology and industrial clients.
Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives with executive-level accountability.
Deep strategic, analytical, and financial acumen with the ability to navigate high-stakes corporate development and investor discussions.
Strong executive presence, communication, and leadership skills capable of influencing at Board and C-suite levels.
Experience working in or advising robotics, automation, or complex hardware-software systems preferred.
Qualifications

Pay
Anticipated Base Salary Range $248,000—$388,000 USD
Schedule
This is a fully remote role with the option to work hybrid if a commutable distance from our Salem, OR, Pittsburgh, PA, or Fremont, CA offices.
