Key Responsibilities
- Drive New Revenue Growth
- Identify, develop, and close new revenue opportunities across news, social, digital, branded content, sponsorships, events, and emerging platforms.
- Build strategic partnerships with brands, agencies, technology companies, direct-to-consumer brands, and other growth partners.
- Create scalable, repeatable revenue programs that can be deployed across multiple markets and platforms.
- Create opportunities that expand Sinclair’s value proposition beyond traditional advertising.
- Lead Revenue Innovation
- Develop new products, offerings, and monetization models that align with evolving audience, advertiser, and platform needs.
- Partner with content, product, marketing, social, digital, and station leadership to bring innovative solutions to market.
- Evaluate emerging opportunities in creator partnerships, commerce, audience monetization, AI, data-driven advertising, and other growth categories.
- Translate market trends into practical, revenue-generating business opportunities.
- Build and Scale the Business
- Establish the go-to-market strategy for the News & Social Division’s growth initiatives.
- Develop sales materials, pricing strategies, packaging, and commercialization plans.
- Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team as the business scales.
- Create a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and measurable growth.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, media, digital advertising, sponsorships, branded content, or growth leadership.
- Demonstrated success launching new revenue streams, products, partnerships, or business units.
- Experience selling, structuring, and negotiating complex, high-value partnerships.
- Strong strategic thinking with a hands-on, execution-oriented mindset.
- Proven ability to operate in entrepreneurial, fast-changing, and highly collaborative environments.
- Deep understanding of the media, advertising, digital, social, or technology landscape.
- Existing relationships across brands, agencies, media companies, technology platforms, or related industries preferred.
- Strong communication, presentation, and cross-functional leadership skills.
