Job Description The Vice President, Quality Engineer at BNY plays a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across engineering projects. As a member of the Quality Engineering family, the role focuses on enhancing product reliability and performance through rigorous testing and quality assurance processes. The Quality function aligns with BNY's principles by fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible solutions. Primary Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of quality assurance strategies by utilizing advanced quality engineering techniques to ensure product excellence. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality issues, demonstrating expertise in problem-solving and root cause analysis. Oversee the execution of testing protocols, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices. Analyze quality data and metrics to drive continuous improvement efforts, aligning with organizational goals and client expectations. Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance quality engineering practices and capabilities. Hands-on automation/performance testing Education/Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced certifications in Quality Assurance or related areas are a plus. Typically 6-10 years of experience. Individuals with skills such as Java, Selenium, JMeter scripting, BDD, Database testing, MQ, and Kafka preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, essential for identifying and resolving quality issues. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with diverse teams. Proficiency in quality engineering tools and methodologies, supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award.
