Vice President Product Marketing

TorchLight Hire is seeking a Vice President of Product Marketing to define and execute go-to-market strategy for our Arlington, VA-based client—a fast-growing, AI-native platform serving branches of the U.S. military. This is a high-impact opportunity for a strategic product marketing executive ready to shape market positioning, messaging, and demand generation for a mission-driven company at a pivotal moment of growth.

Responsibilities

• Define and articulate the company’s product narratives, value propositions, and market positioning to internal and external audiences
• Lead and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches, feature releases, and expansion into new customer segments
• Develop comprehensive sales enablement materials, including competitive analysis, battle cards, and executive presentations
• Serve as the organization’s expert on the defense/federal acquisition market, customer segments, and competitive landscape to inform product roadmap and marketing campaigns
• Build and lead a high-performing product marketing team, including inheriting and developing existing team members
• Drive product marketing and lead-generation strategy aimed at attracting new customers beyond the company’s core market

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive experience in Product Marketing, including 3+ years in a Director/VP leadership role at a B2B enterprise software, SaaS, or AI company
• Experience at a company with $250M+ in ARR strongly preferred
• Demonstrated people leadership experience, including successfully inheriting and growing existing teams
• Experience developing go-to-market strategy and messaging aimed at new-customer acquisition and market expansion
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred
• U.S. citizenship required
• Proven knowledge of the U.S. federal/defense procurement process a plus
