Vice President, Product Excellence
About the role
Vontier is establishing a new enterprise-level Center of Excellence (COE) spanning Product Management, Engineering, and Product Marketing to raise the rigor and consistency of how our operating companies plan, build, launch, and support products. The Vice President, Product Excellence will lead this COE, reporting to the Chief Innovation and Growth Officer. This is a builder role and need to be a player coach as the enterprise team comes together. The VP will stand up a lean, high-leverage corporate team and operate largely through influence — partnering with CPO/product management, CTO/engineering, and product marketing leaders across the businesses (who are not direct reports) to establish common standards, tools, and talent practices, while respecting each business's unique markets and customers. Success looks like every business across Vontier running a disciplined, decision-ready product line review cadence, a healthier NPD funnel, improving quality and customer experience metrics, and a deeper bench of product leadership talent across the enterprise.
