Vice President - Pricing - Building Products
About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Vice President - Pricing - Building Products to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This leader will oversee enterprise pricing strategy for a multi-division building products business, with a strong focus on margin performance and disciplined execution in the field. The role will shape pricing governance, strengthen performance management routines, and drive adoption of the tools and processes needed to support profitable growth. It will also partner closely with division leadership and field teams to build credibility, develop talent, and ensure pricing initiatives translate into measurable business results.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Pay
Compensation: $160,000 – $200,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Own and manage the building products price book across all divisions
- Set and monitor pricing KPIs, taking corrective actions as needed
- Establish a consistent operating rhythm for margin performance reviews
- Lead the rollout and adoption of pricing tools and technologies
- Recruit, develop, and retain pricing talent within the organization
- Partner with division leadership to execute pricing strategies in the field
- Build credibility with the field organization to support pricing initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive pricing experience with P&L ownership
- Experience leading a distributed field team and developing managers
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in pricing software and analytics tools
- Demonstrated ability to establish an operating rhythm for margin performance management
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred
