Vice President, Point of Care
Overview
The Point of Care (POC) team leads the development, growth, and execution of Publicis Health Media's Point of Care offering. The Vice President, Point of Care Strategy & Partnerships serves as the agency's senior Point of Care subject matter expert, responsible for advancing Point of Care strategy, partnerships, marketplace innovation, and activation across the Publicis Health portfolio.
Responsibilities
Define and evolve PHM's Point of Care vision, strategy, and marketplace positioning
Develop channel POVs, investment frameworks, and best practices
Monitor industry trends, technologies, and emerging opportunities within the Point of Care ecosystem
Serve as the senior escalation point for Point of Care strategy and marketplace issues
Drive innovation through new investment opportunities, processes, and solutions
Build and maintain strategic relationships with Point of Care publishers, networks, and healthcare media partners
Collaborate with Partnership, PMX, and APEX teams to develop differentiated offerings and commercial opportunities
Evaluate partnership opportunities, negotiations, and marketplace investments
Ensure clients have access to leading Point of Care solutions and capabilities
Represent PHM externally as a Point of Care thought leader through industry participation, events, and marketplace engagement
Consult on key client initiatives and integrated healthcare media strategies
Support new business efforts and organic growth opportunities
Create and maintain Point of Care educational resources and training programs
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Directors, Associate Directors, and Supervisors
Drive staffing, resource planning, and team performance
Establish clear goals, expectations, and development plans for team members
Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture
Provide regular coaching, feedback, and career development support
Establish scalable processes and workflows across Point of Care planning and activation
Ensure adherence to operational standards, contracts, and marketplace guidelines
Drive efficiencies and consistency across client engagements
Partner with cross-functional teams to improve ways of working and operational effectiveness
Lead special projects and strategic initiatives as needed
Qualifications
Deep expertise in the Point of Care media landscape, including provider networks, health systems, publishers, and emerging healthcare media opportunities
Strong understanding of healthcare marketing, pharmaceutical regulations, and HCP/patient engagement strategies
Knowledge of marketplace negotiations, partnership structures, and investment strategies
Ability to translate client business objectives into effective Point of Care media solutions
Strong understanding of agency operations, financial management, and cross-functional collaboration
12+ years of experience in healthcare media, partnerships, marketplace strategy, channel strategy, media planning, or media investment
Significant experience within Point of Care, HCP marketing, healthcare media, retail media, or related healthcare advertising channels
Proven experience leading teams and cross-functional initiatives
Strong client leadership, communication, and presentation skills
Experience negotiating partnerships, investments, and commercial agreements
Demonstrated success driving innovation, business growth, and operational improvements
Ability to navigate ambiguity and lead through change
Strong organizational and project management skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint
Potential for pharmaceutical marketing experience

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
