About the role

As a VP of Operations, you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence across our rapidly growing company. Your influence and impact will span all aspects of manufacturing, quality, and supply chain operations, ensuring we meet the increasing demand for our innovative products. This is an opportunity to shape the future of food and be part of a company that is redefining the plant-based food industry.

What you will be working on

• Drive operational excellence: Develop and implement systems to enable consistent and reliable execution of the manufacturing operation.
• Scale production: Work closely with other top leaders to scale our manufacturing capabilities, aiming to more than 5X output in 2026 and even faster growth in 2027 with potentially a second production site. Optimize operations to meet demand while maintaining high standards of efficiency and product quality.
• Data-driven decisions: Implement metrics and KPIs that truly matter, using data to identify opportunities, remove bottlenecks, and continuously improve processes.
• Lead continuous improvement: Identify areas for improvement and lead initiatives that make us better every day—through process optimization, cost reduction, or new technology.
• Develop the team: Build, lead, and mentor a world-class operations team. Your leadership will set the tone for how we operate at scale—both tactically and culturally.

What you bring to Plantible

• Proven experience as a leader with hands-on experience in manufacturing and supply chain management.
• Experience scaling operations in a fast-moving, high-growth environment, ideally in food, biotech, or a similarly complex industry.
• Deeply analytical, with a proven track record of using data to inform every decision.
• Not afraid to get into the weeds. This is a hands-on role that requires strategic thinking and tactical execution.
• Understanding what it takes to build a scalable, resilient manufacturing operation.
• Experience leading and motivating high-performance teams. People follow you because they believe in what you’re building.
