For a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space, we are seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead continuous improvement focused on process discipline, productivity, and measurable operating gains. This role offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a life sciences environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

About the role

You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive operations and manufacturing strategy aligned with business goals
  • Provide leadership and direction to Director-level Site Leaders and their teams across multiple sites
  • Drive operational excellence initiatives focused on safety, quality, and cost performance
  • Oversee manufacturing processes and resource allocation to maximize efficiency
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and achieve company goals
  • Establish and maintain quality standards to meet regulatory and industry requirements
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Bioprocessing, Operations, Biochemical Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 15+ years of progressive manufacturing, operations, or supply chain leadership experience
  • 10+ years of people leadership experience, including leadership of leaders and multi-site operations
  • Demonstrated success leading multiple manufacturing facilities and geographically dispersed leadership teams
  • Prior experience in a senior executive operations leadership role in a regulated industry, preferably life sciences or bioprocessing
  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strong strategic planning, organizational, financial, and business acumen

Pay

$240,000 – $345,000 annually
