About the role
We’re excited to support a company recognized for its people-first culture, customer-centric mindset, and long-standing leadership in the specialty chemicals, manufacturing, and distribution industry in their search for a strategic and collaborative Vice President of Operations to join their onsite leadership team in Germantown, Wisconsin.
What You’ll Do
- Lead all manufacturing, distribution, logistics, procurement, transportation, and supply chain operations across multiple North American locations.
- Develop and execute operational strategies that improve safety, quality, productivity, delivery performance, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
- Partner with executive leadership to establish long-range operational plans, operating budgets, resource allocation strategies, and growth initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, KPI management, and operational excellence methodologies.
- Optimize a primarily distribution-focused operation while supporting continued investment and expansion within manufacturing operations.
- Support the launch and ramp-up of a new distribution center while enhancing capacity planning, inventory management, and supply chain performance.
What You’ll Bring
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience across manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, and operations management environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
- Proven success leading multi-site operations, improving operational KPIs, managing complex supply chains, and driving measurable business results.
- Strong experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, ISO standards, operational excellence initiatives, and continuous improvement programs.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across executive leadership teams, commercial organizations, and matrixed business structures.
- A hands-on leadership style with high emotional intelligence, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for developing people and building high-performing teams.
