Duties and Responsibilities
- Strategy, Leadership, and Innovation
- Lead subdivision strategically, informed by Online programmatic, Slate CRM, higher education enrollment and marketing for online, and cross-divisional product leveraging trends
- Contribute to the creation of and work to achieve agreed-upon goals
- Shepherd Carnegie-wide integration of subdivision’s people, products, and processes
- Drive innovation for new products and opportunities, with particular emphasis on client and industry feedback
- Sales and Revenue Oversight
- Monitor sales activity and revenue generation proactively
- Lead custom scoping and project-based revenue allocation conversations
- Own the providing of recommendations for offerings, including pricing
- Online Enrollment Management Strategy, Data Analysis, and Storytelling
- Advise on regular project execution strategy for those in the subdivision
- Provide strategic direction in team delivery of ongoing recommendations and insights through data analysis and storytelling
- Maintain a small portfolio of two to five online enrollment strategy partners
- Supervisory Responsibilities
- Supervise subdivision senior leaders, providing constructive and timely performance evaluations
- Manage staffing and workflow, including individual and team bandwidth/resourcing potential
- Structure subdivision to evolve and scale in conjunction with growth
- Leadership, management, and interpersonal skills, including ability to inspire confidence in C- and V-level executives and team members
- Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and organizational skills, including vision planning, attention to detail, multitasking, prioritization, and decision-making
- Deep expertise and proven track record in higher education enrollment management and admissions, including the development of online enrollment and media strategies to benefit institutions or clients
- Due to the remote environment, effective communication and time management skills are required, as well as the ability to use/learn multiple technology platforms and switch between them on a regular basis
- Physical requirement: Must be able to work at a computer for prolonged periods
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Master’s degree in higher education administration or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 15 years experience in enrollment, admissions, strategic communications, or some combination at an institution of higher education or higher education agency, or within a related industry
- Minimum of 8 years experience working in higher education with Student Information Systems (SIS), Customer-Relationship Management (CRM) tools, or other relational database systems
- Proven results in leading enrollment, admission, and online-specific projects and interdisciplinary teams with demonstrated success
