Vice President of Programs

About the role

This role provides strategic leadership and oversight for all afterschool initiatives, ensuring our educational curriculum aligns with our Christian mission. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in education, proven leadership skills, and a data-driven mindset to scale our impact.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design, growth, and daily execution of all New Horizons of SWFL programs.
• Ensure all programming reflects and integrates the organization's Christian faith and values.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate program staff.
• Develop key performance indicators (KPIs). Collect, track, and interpret data to measure program efficacy and student success.
• Ensure educational content meets high standards and complies with all state, local, and grant regulations.
• Build strong relationships with local schools, churches, parents, and community stakeholders.

Requirements

• A dedicated, practicing Christian who agrees with and upholds our Statement of Faith.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Educational Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a current/former school teacher or school administrator.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience supervising staff, managing teams, and leading program operations.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and develop program metrics, analyze data, and use insights to drive continuous improvement.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.

Pay

Competitive salary based on experience ($55,000 - $62,000).
