Vice President of Operations (VP of Operations)
Position Overview
Aveniya is seeking a strategic and results-driven Vice President of Operations to lead and optimize all operational functions across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
Lead day-to-day operations across manufacturing, production, supply chain, logistics, facilities, and quality functions.
Establish performance metrics, KPIs, and operational dashboards to monitor efficiency and effectiveness.
Build scalable operational frameworks that support rapid growth and product commercialization.
Oversee manufacturing operations to ensure safety, quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.
Drive production planning and capacity management initiatives.
Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement programs.
Optimize workflows, equipment utilization, and production processes.
Develop strategic sourcing and supplier management programs.
Ensure continuity of supply for critical materials, equipment, and components.
Manage inventory strategies to balance availability and working capital objectives.
Negotiate contracts and build strong relationships with key suppliers and partners.
Ensure compliance with applicable industry regulations, quality standards, and operational requirements.
Partner with quality and engineering teams to maintain robust quality management systems.
Lead initiatives focused on risk mitigation, process validation, and operational reliability.
Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Recruit, develop, and mentor high-performing operations teams.
Foster a collaborative, performance-driven culture.
Build leadership succession plans and organizational capability.
Promote employee engagement, safety, and professional development.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
10+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, manufacturing, or supply chain management.
Proven success leading operations in a high-growth technology, manufacturing, medical device, industrial, or advanced materials environment.
Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, quality management, and operational excellence methodologies.
Experience managing cross-functional teams and large-scale operational initiatives.
Exceptional analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred: Master's degree (MBA, Engineering, or related discipline).
Experience scaling manufacturing operations from development through commercialization.
Knowledge of regulated industries and quality standards.
Leverage Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent operational excellence training.
