Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operational strategies that align with company goals, ensuring consistent execution and organizational growth.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and oversee operations across all business units to ensure efficiency, alignment, and measurable impact.
  • Evaluate and enhance operational workflows, communication structures, and policies to increase scalability, cost-effectiveness, and performance while maintaining high-quality outcomes.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking; partner with Finance to monitor KPIs, ensure P&L accountability, and drive margin improvement.
  • Work closely with leaders in Sales, Marketing, Content, Events, Games, and Technology to align operational support, streamline communications, and execute on shared objectives.
  • Partner directly with the President to set strategic priorities, monitor organizational progress, and ensure all projects and initiatives are advancing as planned.
  • Oversee and coordinate company-wide projects, ensuring milestones are achieved, interdepartmental dependencies are managed effectively, and risks are mitigated proactively.
  • Supervise and mentor directors, managers, and operational staff, fostering leadership growth and ensuring strong succession planning.
  • Build and maintain a strong culture of high performance and operational discipline across all teams.
  • Work with Legal to ensure operational compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations, implementing controls that mitigate risk and support business continuity.
  • Negotiate and manage vendor and partner relationships to ensure service quality, cost efficiency, and alignment with business needs.
  • Identify and drive initiatives that leverage technology, data, and emerging best practices to improve operations and support new revenue opportunities.
  • Provide operational leadership for assigned functions, serving as the primary escalation point, and establishing operational standards, and performance expectations.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field required. Minimum of 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, business management, or a related field, including 5+ years in a senior management or executive role overseeing multi-departmental functions.
  • Proven ability to partner with executive leadership to translate organizational goals into actionable operational strategies.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional projects from planning through execution, ensuring accountability and timely delivery.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis with the ability to manage P&L and drive cost efficiencies.
  • Track record of building and leading high-performing teams, mentoring leaders, and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  • Expertise in process improvement, AI tools, workflow design, and implementing systems that enhance scalability and performance.
  • Experience in organizational design, workforce planning, and staffing/resource allocation at scale.
  • Experience driving organizational change and continuous improvement across a business unit.
  • Skilled in partnering across Sales, Marketing, Technology, Finance, and Legal functions to align goals and deliver integrated business outcomes.
  • Able to interpret complex data, identify trends, and use data-driven insights to guide operational decisions, evaluate performance and improve overall operational effectiveness and profitability.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation abilities; capable of influencing at all levels of the organization.
  • Highly driven, proactive, and results-oriented leader with a commitment to operational excellence and ethical leadership.

Qualifications

  • Experience in media, publishing, entertainment, or event-based organizations.
  • Strong background in digital transformation and technology-enabled operations.
  • Skilled at change management, organizational development, and workforce planning.

Pay

The pay scale the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of the posting is $200,000 to $220,000 and takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, experience, training, licenses, certifications, and other business or organizational needs. Compensation will be determined based on the above factors along with the requirements of the position.
