Vice President of Development & Communications
About the role
The Vice President of Development & Communications (VPDC) is a leadership position within a growing $70+ million mission-driven nonprofit. Reporting to the President/CEO, this individual supports and executes enterprise-wide fundraising, communications, public relations, and brand initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Supports major gift initiatives, corporate partnerships, and grant funding efforts
- Manages communications and public relations campaigns and systems
- Strengthen donor relationships and stewardship practices
- Builds a high-performing, multi-dimensional Goodwill Works Foundation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in development and public relations
- Demonstrated track record of fundraising over $3 million annually
- Experience leading teams and managing cross-functional projects
