Vice President, Marketing - Gainbridge
About the Role
We are a subsidiary of Group 1001, recently rebranded, and in the middle of a serious investment in growth. We have a new brand identity, new product lineup, significant media spend across broadcast, CTV, digital, billboards, and experiential, coupled with strong engineering, product, and design teams. We seek an outstanding marketing leader to own the entire marketing function including brand, growth, lifecycle, measurement, and Martech infrastructure.
Reporting to the President with a seat at the leadership table, you will have complete control of how marketing is run, clear expectations on outcomes, and regular, direct conversations about performance. You will inherit a team, a recently launched brand campaign, and a measurement framework built on marketing mix modeling and incrementality testing. The role can be in-office or fully remote, though regular travel will be required if fully remote.
Responsibilities
- Brand and Awareness: Own the brand funnel and creative strategy for campaigns targeting everyday and retirement savers (primarily 45+), spanning linear TV (Today Show, CNBC, MSNBC mornings), connected TV, streaming, social, billboards, and experiential.
- Performance and Growth: Manage paid search, display, direct response, and affiliate channels, optimizing the full media mix for acquisition cost and volume.
- Measurement: Own the relationship with Haus (marketing analytics partner), test design, and the discipline of translating measurement into planning inputs.
- Martech: Lead Martech strategy—evaluate current tools, decide what to retain, enhance, or replace, and partner with engineering for implementation.
- Leadership: Assess the existing team’s composition and capabilities, develop a staffing plan to address gaps, and hold the team accountable for results.
- Product and Design Partnership: Collaborate with product and design teams to align roadmaps and ensure consistent brand voice and design language across customer touchpoints.
- Sponsorships: Activate and evaluate sponsorship assets, including the Gainbridge Fieldhouse, and work with the corporate sponsorships team to pursue new deals where strategic.
- Agencies: Determine outsourcing needs and manage agency relationships to drive accountability and performance.
- Additional duties as assigned.
