Vice President, Marketing
About the role
We are seeking a visionary, strategic, and growth-oriented Vice President, Marketing to join the Commercial team. This individual will oversee and hold ultimate accountability for Arcadia’s global marketing function, driving brand authority, demand generation, and product positioning for our enterprise solutions. The ideal candidate is a leader of leaders who thrives on cross-functional collaboration, excels at driving operational excellence, and possesses a forward-thinking mindset capable of integrating AI to transform marketing workflows. You will work hand-in-hand with our C-level executives to scale our market presence and execute a long-term strategic vision.
What You’ll Do
- Brand & Category Leadership: Own the brand and category narrative; build the company into the category-defining name in its market, with positioning and a story that compounds enterprise value and resonates with customers, partners, and future acquirers.
- Demand Engine: Build a scalable, accountable demand engine; stand up a predictable marketing-sourced pipeline across both the direct enterprise and indirect/partner motions, with clean attribution from spend to pipeline to bookings and ARR.
- Product Marketing & Positioning: Lead product marketing and positioning; sharpen messaging, packaging, and competitive differentiation across the platform and solutions, reinforcing the shift toward high-margin recurring revenue.
- Financial Integration: Tie marketing to the financial story; own marketing’s contribution to CAC, payback, sales efficiency, and net revenue retention — instrumenting the funnel so growth is repeatable and defensible in diligence.
- Team Scaling & Development: Scale and develop the marketing organization; recruit, structure, and lead a high-performing team across brand, product marketing, demand generation, corporate communications, and marketing operations as headcount and complexity grow.
- External Profile: Elevate the company’s external profile; lead PR and thought leadership to build credibility with customers, the market, and strategic partners; drive thoughtful evolution of the brand’s voice and positioning through published articles and curated events.
- Go-to-Market Leadership: Operate as a go-to-market leader; align tightly with Sales, Partnerships, and Product across a single revenue lifecycle — drive demand generation and partner to reinforce the customer journey with Customer Success leadership.
- Functional Ownership & Strategy: Define, oversee, and execute Arcadia’s holistic marketing strategy, ensuring complete alignment with our broader business direction and commercial growth goals.
- Marketing Modernization: Serve as a Strategic Integrator by identifying high-level opportunities for AI to optimize marketing department operations; collaborate with technical teams to deploy robust AI solutions and automated workflows.
- Operational Excellence: Set and drive the bar for operational excellence across the marketing organization; work closely with the CCO and executive team to proactively identify growth opportunities and dismantle roadblocks.
- Cross-Functional Synergy: Act as a key influencer and bridge-builder across the company; establish clear performance expectations between marketing, sales, product, and operations.
- Cultural Leadership: Model and champion a healthy culture of feedback within the marketing function and across the broader organization; take responsibility for the overall cultural health of your teams.
- Strategic Communication: Translate complex company strategies and the “why” behind business decisions into clear, inspiring messages for your team; train mid-level marketing leaders to do the same.
