Vice President, Market Manager and Commercial Lend

Key Responsibilities

• Business Development & Market Growth: Drive business development efforts to grow commercial loans, CRE lending, grow mortgage loans (through relationship development to then hand off to mortgage lender) and deposit relationships (commercial and consumer) across Archuleta County and surrounding markets.
• Commercial Lending: Originate, underwrite, and manage a portfolio of commercial loans, including commercial real estate (CRE), while maintaining strong credit quality and relationship management standards.
• Community & Relationship Building: Represent RG BANK in the community through active networking, civic involvement, and relationship building with local businesses, professionals, individuals, and centers of influence (COI).
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure full compliance with bank policies, procedures, and all applicable regulatory requirements while maintaining sound underwriting and credit administration practices.

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
• 8–12 years of progressive banking experience, with at least 6 years focused on commercial lending
• Proven track record of successful business development, loan origination, and relationship management
• Strong credit analysis, underwriting, and commercial loan portfolio management skills
• Demonstrated leadership ability with experience supervising, coaching, and developing staff
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with a collaborative, relationship-first approach

Preferred:

• Experience working in a community bank environment
• Knowledge of Pagosa Springs, Archuleta County, or broader Southwest Colorado market
• Existing network of local business and professional relationships in the Pagosa Springs area
• Prior experience in a commercial lending leadership role
