Vice President, Legal

Responsibilities

• Manage a small internal legal team and oversee all legal functions
• Advises the General Counsel and leadership team on legal matters
• Serve as an active member of the Leadership Team, providing counsel on various matters
• Represent legal interests before the Board and regulatory agencies
• Advise on contract analysis and compliance matters
• Monitor federal and state regulatory impacts on the company
• Lead compliance audits and investigations as the senior legal advisor

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree with at least 10 years of experience
• Minimum 4 years in the space or defense sectors
• 4 years of experience with US government contracts at law firms, agencies, or in-house
• Licensed to practice law in good standing in at least one jurisdiction
• Demonstrated ability to manage a small team of legal professionals effectively
• Experience in negotiating complex government and commercial contracts
• Strong analytical and communication skills

Pay

$245,000 – $250,000 annually
