Vice President, Investor Relations - Chicago, IL About the FirmOur client is a growing private equity firm with an established institutional investor base and a strong track record of partnering with investors across multiple fund vintages. As the firm continues to expand, they are seeking a Vice President of Investor Relations to play a key role in the development and execution of the firm's investor relations and capital formation strategy. This individual will be responsible for cultivating and managing relationships with existing and prospective investors while helping drive future fundraising efforts across the platform. This is a highly visible opportunity to join a growing private equity firm and help build and scale an institutional investor relations function. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership while taking ownership of investor communications, fundraising support, and long-term relationship management initiatives. The Vice President, Investor Relations will be responsible for:Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective institutional investors.Support fundraising initiatives across current and future investment vehicles.Manage ongoing investor communications and engagement efforts.Coordinate investor meetings, annual meetings, due diligence sessions, and ad hoc investor requests.Prepare and maintain fundraising materials, investor presentations, quarterly updates, and due diligence documentation.Partner closely with investment professionals and firm leadership to communicate firm updates, portfolio developments, and investment performance.Maintain investor pipelines, CRM systems, and fundraising activity tracking.Monitor fundraising trends, investor sentiment, and market developments across private markets.Help shape and enhance the firm's investor relations infrastructure, processes, and long-term strategy. The Vice President, Investor Relations should have:7+ years of experience in investor relations, capital formation, fundraising, institutional business development, or a related function.Experience within private equity, alternative asset management, investment management, or a placement agent environment preferred.Demonstrated success building and maintaining relationships with institutional investors.Strong understanding of private markets fundraising processes and investor due diligence requirements.Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a growing organization.Strong organizational and project management capabilities.Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or professional designation is a plus.
