Vice President, Integrated Medical Capabilities
The Vice President of Integrated Medical Capabilities will design the systems, processes, tools, and scientific infrastructure needed to support evidence generation, launch readiness, and external engagement. This role is ideal for an experienced Medical Affairs leader who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys building from the ground up, and can flex between strategy and execution.

Responsibilities
- Build and/or oversee the foundational Medical Affairs operating model, including insights, medical information, scientific communication, and governance.
- Stand up a fully integrated medical information function.
- Implement scalable digital medical capabilities (content systems, CRM, medical information workflows) appropriate for a small, rapidly evolving organization.
- Develop core scientific messaging frameworks and ensure alignment across publications, congress activities, and medical content.
- Create compliant processes for MLR/PRC and cross-functional review.
- Lead Medical Affairs operations, including SOP development, vendor management, and process optimization.
- Build and mentor a small, high-impact team; manage external partners to extend internal capacity.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CMAO and executive team, contributing to portfolio strategy, launch planning, and organizational growth.
Qualifications
- Advanced scientific degree (PhD, PharmD, MD) strongly preferred.
- 12+ years of Medical Affairs, scientific communications, or medical operations experience, ideally with small-biotech exposure.
- Demonstrated ability to build Medical Affairs capabilities, systems, or processes from the ground up.
- Strong understanding of insights, medical information, analytics, digital medical tools, scientific communications, and MLR/PRC.
- Comfortable operating in a lean environment with shifting priorities and limited infrastructure.
- Excellent communication, cross-functional leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Pay
The salary range for the Vice President, Integrated Medical Capabilities is expected to be between $330,000 and $375,000 per year. Individual pay may vary based on multiple factors including but not limited to relevant job-related skills, experience, education or training, market factors, and work location.
