Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies in Medical Affairs that promote client success and operational excellence
- Provide oversight to ensure teams meet current client needs and identify future growth opportunities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders on medical communications and scientific strategy
- Guide scientific strategy and ensure program excellence in client engagements
- Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability
- Support new business efforts by leading scientific strategy in pitches and client presentations
- Champion the implementation of AI tools to enhance service delivery and operational outcomes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in healthcare communications, medical affairs, or medical communications required for VP; 12+ years for SVP
- Advanced scientific degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent) mandatory
- Significant agency experience with leadership in medical affairs and promotional medical education
- Demonstrated capability in driving new business and maintaining executive-level relationships
- Experience with AI applications in healthcare communications is essential
Pay
$185,000 – $225,000 annually
