Vice President, Innovation

For our client, we are seeking a Vice President, Innovation to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space. This leader will shape and advance the organization’s innovation agenda across a diversified industrial portfolio. The role will connect emerging technologies, new product development, and cross-business execution to drive sustainable growth and commercial impact. It will also foster a culture of experimentation, continuous improvement, and disciplined measurement of innovation outcomes. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $200,000 – $300,000 annually Responsibilities Drive sustainable growth through new product development and technology adoption Identify and prioritize innovation initiatives across the organization’s portfolio Manage innovation resources to align with strategic objectives Establish best practices for innovation processes and performance metrics Build strategic relationships with universities and technology providers Foster a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement Develop training programs for innovation leaders and technical professionals Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, or a related field; Master’s or Doctoral degree preferred MBA or equivalent business education strongly desired 15+ years of leadership experience in innovation, engineering, or related fields Proven success leading innovation across multiple business units and industries Experience in industrial manufacturing or related sectors Strong P&L management experience preferred Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and translate them into commercial value Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) matching Opportunities for professional development Recognition programs for innovation achievements Flexible work arrangements, including remote options Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
