About the Role
We are seeking a Vice President, Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team in Berwyn, PA. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about leading the design and implementation of server-side architecture, collaborating with front-end developers, and optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability while ensuring the security and data protection of applications.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of server-side architecture by leveraging expertise in software engineering principles and best practices.
- Collaborate with front-end developers and other stakeholders to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic, ensuring seamless and efficient system interactions.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability by conducting thorough performance testing and deploying necessary updates.
- Ensure the security and data protection of applications by implementing robust authentication and authorization solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Typically 5-9 years of experience in back-end software development.
- Financial Services experience.
- Proficient in back-end programming languages and frameworks, such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Strong understanding of database management using Oracle and data storage solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality software solutions.
Qualifications
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
