About the Role

We are seeking a Vice President, Full Stack Engineer to join our team in Berwyn, PA. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about leading the design and implementation of server-side architecture, collaborating with front-end developers, optimizing applications for speed and scalability, and ensuring the security and data protection of applications.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of server-side architecture by leveraging expertise in software engineering principles and best practices.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers and other stakeholders to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic, ensuring seamless and efficient system interactions.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability by conducting thorough performance testing and deploying necessary updates.
  • Ensure the security and data protection of applications by implementing robust authentication and authorization solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Typically 5-9 years of experience in back-end software development.
  • Financial Services experience.
  • Proficient in back-end programming languages and frameworks, such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
  • Strong understanding of database management using Oracle and data storage solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality software solutions.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
