About the role

The Vice President, Finance will lead the finance function, providing strategic direction and oversight to ensure financial goals are met. This role will also be responsible for managing the finance team, developing financial policies, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the finance function, providing strategic direction and oversight to ensure financial goals are met
• Manage the finance team, including performance evaluations, staff development, and resource allocation
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
• Oversee financial reporting and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure accurate and timely financial statements and reports are prepared and distributed to stakeholders
• Collaborate with other departments to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency
• Provide guidance and support to senior management on financial matters

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Proven track record of successful financial management and strategic planning
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Experience with financial modeling and budgeting tools
• Knowledge of GAAP and familiarity with SEC reporting requirements

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in a finance or accounting role
• Experience with financial systems and software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
