About the role

As VP of Facility Operations, you will oversee Hampr’s physical operations, scaling both existing and new facilities. You will take over live facilities and logistics teams, build out new facilities, and establish a robust operations leadership team.

Requirements

  • Own the full physical operations function end-to-end, including facilities, logistics, field workforce, and process infrastructure
  • Run and scale live facility operations and their pickup/delivery logistics, taking over existing teams and building them out
  • Lead new-facility buildout: execute from construction through hiring, training, and launch, while participating in site selection and being accountable for everything after a site is settled
  • Establish a thoughtful robotics and automation strategy, identifying the highest-impact opportunities and redesigning operations around automation
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing operations leadership team, including facility managers, logistics leads, and field supervisors
  • Own the operations P&L, setting budgets, managing costs, and optimizing unit economics without sacrificing service quality
  • Partner with the CEO and executive leadership team on market expansion strategy, operational readiness, and growth planning for new geographies
  • Lead continuous-improvement initiatives using data, performance metrics, and frontline feedback to eliminate waste and raise the operational floor

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of progressive operations leadership, with at least 5 years at Director level or above managing multi-site operations
  • Proven track record scaling operations in logistics, fulfillment, facilities management, or services businesses, ideally with hands-on experience opening new locations
  • Strong financial acumen with direct P&L ownership, including budgeting, cost management, and unit-economics modeling
  • Deep expertise in process design and operational standardization, including building SOPs from scratch and using them to drive measurable improvement
  • Comfort partnering with automation and robotics, able to evaluate where it pays off, prioritize deployments, and redesign operations around it without over-investing ahead of the evidence
  • Expert KPI builder and performance manager, defining metrics, working from dashboards, and holding teams accountable to outcomes, not activity
  • Experience managing and developing multi-level operations leadership teams across dispersed locations
  • Logistics or supply-chain background—route planning, fleet management, or last-mile delivery—is a plus
  • Entrepreneurial operating mindset: comfortable with ambiguity, energized by building, and able to move fast without sacrificing precision

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Phone allowance
  • Equity
