Vice President, Enrollment and Strategic Initiatives

Position Overview

The Vice President for Enrollment and Strategic Initiatives reports to the President and serves as a member of the senior leadership team. This role is the College's chief enrollment officer and a key contributor to its student success agenda. The Vice President is expected to have vision, strategic acumen, and a deep commitment to equity and access.

Enrollment Management

The Vice President serves as the principal architect of the College's enrollment management plan, setting strategic direction for undergraduate and graduate recruitment in alignment with institutional priorities, market conditions, and financial goals. They provide executive direction for the development of bold, data-informed recruitment marketing strategies, working closely with the College's Communications and Marketing unit.

Community Partnerships and Articulation Agreements

The Vice President is responsible for cultivating and sustaining external relationships that advance the College's access mission and enrollment goals. This includes establishing articulation agreements with community colleges, high schools, and educational partners, and forging partnerships with employers, workforce development agencies, and community organizations.

Retention, Persistence, and Degree Completion

The Vice President partners with Academic Affairs and Student Affairs to advance shared institutional goals around student retention, persistence, and degree completion. They contribute enrollment data, strategic perspective, and divisional resources to ensure a coherent and coordinated institutional commitment to the full arc of the student experience.

Divisional Leadership

The Vice President builds and sustains a high-performing division, setting clear expectations, investing in staff development, and fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and data-informed practice. They manage the divisional budget in alignment with institutional priorities and represent the College at CUNY and before relevant external partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree and eight years' related experience
• CUNY's benefits contribute significantly to total compensation, supporting health and wellness, financial well-being, and professional development
• Salary commensurate with education and experience ($210,000-$230,000)
