About the role

Fiera Capital is seeking a seasoned Investor Relations professional to join its growing Private Real Estate Debt team. This intermediate-level position is responsible for managing and developing relationships with existing investors (limited partners/LPs), supporting capital-raising activities, preparing high-quality marketing materials, producing investor reports, communications, onboarding new clients, and serving as the primary liaison between the investment team and investors.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary daily contact for existing investor (limited partner and institutional investor) inquiries and coordinate meetings with them and various Fiera Capital teams.
  • Support capital-raising initiatives, including preparing investor presentations, virtual data rooms, due diligence questionnaire (DDQ) responses, and presentation materials.
  • Design and update presentations for capital-raising meetings and potential clients.
  • Draft and complete end-to-end responses to requests for proposals (RFP) and requests for information (RFI).
  • Track ongoing requests, deadlines, and action items throughout the process.
  • Respond to information requests from limited partners (LP) and consultants.
  • Produce and distribute investor reports (quarterly letters, performance reports, capital account statements, and ad-hoc communications) clearly, accurately, and on time.
  • Manage the investor documentation library, including version control, formatting, and brand compliance.
  • Maintain up-to-date customer relationship management (CRM) systems and investor databases, tracking interactions, preferences, and business opportunity activities.
  • Coordinate document preparation for limited partner meetings, annual assemblies, board meetings, and due diligence visits.
  • Collaborate closely with portfolio management, finance, legal and compliance, and operations teams to gather relevant information and ensure consistent communications.
  • Support the onboarding of new investors and participate in subscription and redemption process management as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a related field.
  • 7 to 10+ years of progressive experience in investor relations, client service, or a similar role within an asset management firm, private markets, or comparable environment.
  • Strong knowledge of private credit and/or real estate debt terminology.
  • Understanding of applicable regulations (e.g., marketing and advertising rules) is an asset.
  • Excellent understanding of institutional investor decision-making processes, limited partner (LP) reporting standards, and private market structures.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex investment strategies and performance data into clear, professional, and compelling documents.
  • Strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, eVestment), Microsoft Office Suite, and ideally data visualization or reporting tools.
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, with a strong sense of visual presentation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with sophisticated institutional clients.

Skills

  • Fluency in spoken and written French is required for roles based in Quebec (Montreal and Laval).
  • Functional English language skills are also required to meet the needs of our international offices and clientele.
