Vice President, Commercial Private Credit - South Florida

Position Summary

The VP of Commercial Private Credit will engage in credit origination and structuring across South Florida, specifically Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties.

Key Responsibilities

• Sources, originates, and structures commercial private credit transactions.
• Maintains and grows a high-performing credit origination platform by leveraging direct sales channels consisting of deep relationships with business owners, C-Suite executives, and strategic partners to deliver customized financing solutions to lower and middle-market companies (typically $10M–$150M in revenue).
• Builds relationships with companies, financial sponsors, and strategic advisors.
• Executes Southeast Commercial Private Credit Playbook.
• Establishes Libertas as a leading private credit provider in the region.
• Oversees the full deal lifecycle.
• Partners with underwriting and risk teams.
• Partners with senior leadership on growth initiatives.
• Independently manages and consistently meets funding targets and goals.
• Ensures adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial lending or private credit.
• Self-motivated with the ability to self-source opportunities in assigned market channel.
• Strong and proven track record of deal origination and execution.
• Deep understanding of the financial markets and alternative financing.
• Strong written and oral communications skills required.
• Ability to work well with a variety of people at all levels of the organization.
• Strong South Florida market network.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required; in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field preferred. MBA Preferred.

Pay

Salary Range: $125K-$160K
