Vice President, Private Credit

A growing private credit investment platform is seeking a Vice President to join its New York-based team. This is an opportunity to play a key role in a lean, entrepreneurial environment with significant responsibility, direct exposure to senior decision-makers, and the ability to influence investment outcomes from day one.The firm focuses on providing flexible capital solutions to lower middle market businesses across the U.S., investing through a variety of structures including unitranche, second lien, mezzanine, preferred equity, and equity co-investments. Investments span sponsored, independent sponsor-backed, and non-sponsored companies across a broad range of industries. Responsibilities: Lead the evaluation, underwriting, and execution of new investment opportunities from initial screening through closingBuild detailed financial models and conduct comprehensive due diligenceStructure and negotiate debt and equity investmentsPresent investment recommendations to senior leadership and investment committeesMonitor portfolio company performance, financial results, and covenant complianceLead portfolio transactions including amendments, waivers, refinancings, add-on financings, and recapitalizationsWork directly with management teams, sponsors, advisors, and financing partners Qualifications: 4+ years of lower middle market private credit or direct lending experienceProven track record underwriting and executing debt investmentsStrong financial modeling, credit analysis, and investment writing skillsExperience evaluating companies in the $3M-$15M EBITDA range preferredAbility to operate independently in a lean, collaborative environmentStrong communication and relationship management skills
