Vice President, Business Development (Healthcare)
Qualfon is a company with a positive, high-performance culture, and a mission to help change lives. We are looking to add a VP of Business Development focused on selling Qualfon's Customer Experience Solutions (CES) to enhance new-logo client growth within the Healthcare vertical.
Responsibilities
- Sell outsourced Customer Experience, Claims, and Member Engagement solutions to C-Suite decision makers across health plans, providers, and healthcare-adjacent organizations
- Drive complex and consultative sales involving regulated, compliance-intensive engagements spanning multiple product groups and divisions
- Successfully navigate politics within organizations (external and internal), including highly matrixed, compliance-governed healthcare buying committees
- Drive all business development activities including opportunistic strategies, lead generation via aggressive client-base prospecting, opportunity qualification, needs assessments, deal management, competitive positioning, solution demonstrations, proposal preparation and delivery, and contract development
- Identify, organize, and focus the resources required to close deals, including coordination with compliance, licensing, and operational teams to address regulatory requirements unique to healthcare engagements
- Provide post-proposal issues resolution
Typical points of contact are Chief Experience Officer, Chief Operating Officer, SVP of Member Services, SVP of Health Plan Operations, and Chief Compliance Officer.
Requirements
- Must be a seasoned business originator with 10+ years of experience with a proven sales record in selling outsourced CX or BPO programs to healthcare payers, providers, or health-tech organizations
- Must be self-motivated, have the internal drive to keep calling even when not getting traction immediately, and have the capacity to know how to approach each customer and each functional area within target healthcare organizations
- Must be an exceptional communicator with a strong team orientation and a skill for positioning integrated, compliance-forward, human + AI-enabled solutions to help drive market share, member satisfaction, and operational efficiency
- Experience selling services to Health Plans, Managed Care Organizations, Medicare Advantage/Medicaid programs, Health-Tech/SaaS, and broader BFSI-adjacent regulated industries
- A thorough understanding of demand generation and go-to-market strategies & methodologies within regulated, compliance-driven markets
- Knowledge of healthcare industry trends, regulatory developments (CMS, HIPAA, state Medicaid), and market dynamics
- Must have the ability to translate how our solutions can impact a healthcare organization's member experience, retention, and profitability
- Must have a thorough knowledge of the inner workings within large, complex healthcare organizations, i.e., multiple departments, compliance stakeholders, and appropriate solution design
- Bachelor's degree in business or marketing required, MBA a plus

Full-time employees are eligible to receive paid time off (PTO) benefits based on the Company’s current paid time off policies and in accordance with applicable state law. Colorado residents are eligible for Paid Sick and Safety Leave, per applicable state law provisions and Company policy.
Pay
This position will be paid on a salaried basis with a pay range between $185,000 and $200,000 annually depending on prior experience. This base pay is subject to all applicable statutory deductions and authorized withholdings as required by law, including deductions for benefits premiums and/or 401(k) contributions.
