Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the Critical Infrastructure mission-area growth campaign across Transportation Infrastructure, Energy Infrastructure, and DIB Infrastructure.
- Own 12-36 month qualified pipeline development, including account plans, opportunity shaping, capture priorities, partner strategies, and pipeline coverage required to support aggressive mission-area growth.
- Protect and expand existing FAA and NRC business while opening new growth lanes in DHS/TSA/CISA/CBP, DOT/FAA, DOE/NNSA, national labs, DoD infrastructure, commercial energy, ports, airports, rail, DIB Infrastructure, and international markets.
- Shape and pursue opportunities that move Astrion from SETA labor delivery toward repeatable Mission Solutions, product-attached services, and technology-enabled outcomes.
- Work with Solutions and Operations leaders to package offerings such as Mission Evidence Packs, Digital Twins, OT/ICS Assessments, Exercise & Readiness packages, resilience dashboards, and sector-specific readiness solutions.
- Integrate Astrion Core into capture strategies, customer messaging, solution architectures, demonstrations, and partner offerings.
- Build and manage strategic partner/channel relationships with cloud, AI, digital twin, OT/ICS, control-system OEM, infrastructure engineering, national lab, and small-business partners.
- Establish pursuit discipline based on right-to-win, customer access, margin, reference ability, technical differentiation, repeatability, and alignment to CIP Mission Solutions.
- Lead executive customer engagement, competitive positioning, capture strategy, and teaming strategy for priority pursuits.
- Partner with Growth, Operations, Solutions, Finance, Contracts, and M&A teams to identify organic, inorganic, and channel-based growth opportunities.
- Develop win themes, customer call plans, partner strategies, capture artifacts, and executive pursuit reviews for priority opportunities.
- Represent Astrion externally as a senior growth leader and credible voice on Mission Assurance for critical infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, technology, national security, public policy, or a related field; additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- 15+ years of business development, capture, or growth leadership experience in federal transportation, energy, homeland security, or regulated-commercial infrastructure markets.
- Demonstrated success building and managing large, multi-year qualified pipelines and winning competitive pursuits.
- Experience developing new-account growth strategies, not only incumbent protection or recompete strategies.
- Familiarity with one or more priority customer areas: FAA/DOT, DHS/TSA/CISA/CBP, DOE/NNSA, NRC, national labs, DoD infrastructure, NAVFAC, USACE, DIB Infrastructure, commercial nuclear, utilities, ports, airports, rail, or international markets.
- Demonstrated ability to position differentiated Mission Solutions and technology-enabled offerings, not only labor-based professional services.
- Experience with partner-led growth, teaming strategies, channel development, or technology-enabled solution selling.
- Understanding of systems engineering, operational test and evaluation, cyber-physical resilience, digital engineering, OT/ICS, digital twins, mission assurance, or infrastructure modernization.
- Strong executive presence, customer intimacy, competitive insight, and ability to work effectively across operations, solutions, growth, finance, contracts, and corporate leadership.
- S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
