About the role
The Vice President - Business Development will lead strategic initiatives to expand the company's market share through partnerships and collaborations. This role requires a deep understanding of industry trends and the ability to develop and execute business development plans.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with key industry partners and stakeholders
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities that align with the company’s strategic goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of business development strategies
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform business development strategies
- Prepare and present business development proposals to senior management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in a similar industry
- Proven track record of successfully developing and closing deals
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Qualifications
- Experience with AI tools for resume analysis and applicant tracking systems
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM software
