SCS is seeking a Vice President to join the Los Angeles, California office. As part of a client relationship team dedicated to serving the financial and investment needs of clients, the VP will work with the team to ensure SCS clients continue to receive a world-class experience. The ideal candidate is well-organized, energetic, team-oriented, and a self-starter with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and keen attention to detail. This role requires the highest level of client service, professionalism, and confidentiality, along with the ability to efficiently prioritize tasks and consistently meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Actively manage and oversee clients’ investment and financial plans.
  • Prepare client meeting presentations and oversee manual reporting coordination.
  • Analyze, develop solutions, and communicate sophisticated wealth management topics in a concise, understandable manner.
  • Participate in client meetings and assist with inquiries and requests in a timely manner.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for some clients.
  • Think creatively and strategically about client needs.
  • Drive process and efficiency improvements using experience and expertise.
  • Support new business development activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree; CFP or CFA designation preferred.
  • 5-7+ years of relevant professional experience in investment, wealth management, estate planning, or tax/accounting.
  • Fluency in planning and/or investment topics.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail; effective problem-solving abilities.
  • High energy, self-motivation, and ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings.

Pay

The annualized base pay range for this role is $120,000–$165,000. Actual base pay may vary based on factors including experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location, and skill set. Base pay is one component of the total compensation package, which may also include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
