Vice President, Associate General Counsel, Marketing Legal

About the Role

Tubi is seeking a Vice President, Associate General Counsel-level attorney to lead our Marketing and Legal team. This role provides legal advice, risk assessment, and partnership management to the Marketing business team, and leads a team of three additional attorneys.

Requirements

• 15+ years’ legal experience between an established law firm and an entertainment, media, advertising, and/or technology company
• 5+ years’ experience managing, coaching, and developing a team of high-performing attorneys
• Experience negotiating and drafting complex commercial agreements, including marketing, licensing, services, and sponsorship agreements
• Experience providing intellectual property clearance, including clearance subject to talent and content agreement restrictions
• Knowledge of industry-specific marketing issues, such as FTC influencer disclosures, sweepstakes and contests, and claims-based advertising
• JD received from an ABA-accredited U.S. law school
• Admission to the state bar in at least one U.S. state

• Strong drafting skills and demonstrated ability to balance necessary legal protections with practical business needs and manage multiple, complex legal transactions simultaneously

• Strong executive presence and an energetic team leader who coaches and supports a team effectively
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written, and the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly and effectively to non-legal colleagues
• Detail-oriented and able to manage a high-volume workload efficiently and smoothly

Pay

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role is $252,300—$360,500 USD annually, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location.
