Duties And Responsibilities

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing clinical applications organization across implementation, support, optimization, training coordination, and vendor management.
  • Partner closely with clinical, operational, financial, compliance, HIM, revenue cycle, and other enterprise leaders to align systems with care delivery and business goals.
  • Act as a trusted partner to hospital and market leadership during application transitions, workflow redesign, and major transformation initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of service, accountability, standardization, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and leadership presence as working directly with corporate and hospital executives will be required.
  • Be a strategic and operational clinical systems leader.
  • Skilled at balancing enterprise standardization with real-world clinical workflow needs.
  • Able to connect application strategy to workflow transformation, operational improvement, and enterprise growth.
  • Structured, calm, and decisive in complex transformation environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, Nursing Informatics, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare IT, with significant responsibility for clinical applications and EMR platforms.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale EMR implementation, migration, or transformation programs in a multi-site healthcare environment.
  • Deep understanding of hospital and clinical workflows, clinical systems, integration needs, and application governance.
  • Demonstrated experience in application portfolio management, lifecycle management, and rationalization.
  • Strong understanding of interoperability, data exchange, interface strategy, and connected healthcare ecosystems.
  • Experience working with executive, operational, and clinical stakeholders in complex, fast-paced healthcare settings.
  • Strong vendor management, program leadership, and organizational change management capabilities.
