What You'll Do

  • Define and execute the enterprise business applications strategy, establishing a multi-year roadmap that aligns with organizational growth, margin improvement, and operational excellence goals.
  • Partner with executive and clinical leadership (CIO, CFO, CHRO, COO, CRO, General Counsel, and operations leaders) to ensure technology investments are aligned with enterprise priorities and care delivery needs.
  • Establish and govern enterprise application demand, prioritization, and release management processes, ensuring balance across regulatory requirements, clinical needs, and business value.
  • Provide executive oversight of the enterprise application portfolio, including ERP, ITSM/ESM platforms, CRM, HRIS, legal/contracting systems, and productivity platforms.
  • Lead ERP strategy, implementation, and optimization, ensuring standardized, scalable processes that support financial integrity, workforce management, and enterprise operations.
  • Drive enterprise workflow automation and service management capabilities, improving cross-functional case management, service delivery efficiency, and end-user experience.
  • Ensure integration and interoperability across enterprise systems, including ERP, CRM, clinical platforms, and other business applications to enable a unified, accurate view of operations and stakeholders.
  • Oversee legal, compliance, and contract lifecycle management systems, ensuring regulatory adherence, auditability, and risk mitigation across provider, payor, and vendor relationships.
  • Lead HRIS and workforce platform strategy, ensuring systems effectively support a large, distributed workforce with complex scheduling, credentialing, and payroll requirements.
  • Establish standards and drive adoption of collaboration and productivity platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365) to enable secure, compliant communication across corporate, clinical, and field environments.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and data privacy requirements (e.g., HIPAA), partnering with security and compliance teams to enforce access controls, monitoring, and data protection practices.
  • Drive delivery of application initiatives and services, ensuring projects and enhancements are executed on time, within scope and budget, and supported by effective change management and training.
  • Build and lead a high-performing applications organization, including talent development, operating model design, and 24x7 support capabilities for a healthcare environment.
  • Manage strategic vendor and partner relationships, including contract negotiation, performance oversight, and alignment with organizational objectives.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in enterprise applications or IT leadership, including at least 7–10 years leading ERP and related business systems.
  • Significant experience in healthcare or closely related, highly regulated industries; experience in provider, payor, or direct healthcare delivery strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record leading ERP implementations or major transformations in multi-site, multi-entity organizations of similar scale (5,000+ employees, $1B+ revenue).
  • Demonstrated leadership with at least two of: ServiceNow/ITSM, Salesforce/CRM, HRIS, legal/CLM, or finance/accounting systems.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory and privacy requirements (e.g., HIPAA) and how they impact application design, integration, and operations.
  • Experience partnering with clinical, operational, and corporate leaders, with the ability to translate needs into scalable, secure technology solutions.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and vendor negotiation skills; comfortable presenting to executive leadership.
  • Experience with healthcare ERPs (e.g., Workday, Infor, Oracle, SAP, or similar) and integration with EMR/EHR and revenue cycle systems.
  • Familiarity with healthcare operations (clinic, ambulatory, post acute, or home-based care) and associated back-office processes.
  • Background driving cloud-first transformations and consolidation of legacy or disparate systems in healthcare environments.
