Vice President, Analytics and Insights
Overview
The Vice President, Analytics and Insights is a senior leadership role responsible for defining and executing enterprise-wide data, analytics, and insights strategy across commercial operations and portfolio planning across North America. This role operates at the intersection of business strategy, advanced analytics, and digital transformation, enabling data-driven decision-making across Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs and Finance. This role reports directly to the President and General Manager of RRD North America and is a member of the North America Leadership Team. As a trusted advisor to executive leadership, this role translates complex data ecosystems into actionable insights that influence enterprise direction, optimize performance, and deliver measurable business and patient outcomes. The VP will architect and scale a modern analytics organization, advancing forecasting, analytics, predictive intelligence and AI-enabled decision-making.

Enterprise Strategy & Executive Leadership
- Define and lead the enterprise-wide vision, strategy, and roadmap for data, analytics, and insights
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the NA leadership team, influencing critical business decisions; partner with key stakeholders in the RRD global organization
- Translate complex analytics into clear, actionable executive narratives
- Lead enterprise digital transformation initiatives, including AI and advanced analytics integration in partnership with global RRD initiatives
- Establish enterprise measurement frameworks to track performance, ROI, and value creation
Commercial Analytics & Performance Optimization
- Lead analytics for product launches, lifecycle management, and commercial strategy
- Drive performance management frameworks, dashboards, and executive reporting
- Identify growth opportunities, market dynamics, and revenue risks across brands and portfolio
- Enable data-driven decision-making across pricing, access, and reimbursement strategies
Portfolio Insights & Predictive Intelligence
- Architect portfolio-level analytics strategy and evidence-based decision frameworks
- Lead predictive modeling and advanced analytics to anticipate market and healthcare shifts
- Integrate claims, EHR, clinical, and market research data to create a unified patient and provider view
- Develop appropriate performance and impact measures for commercial, patient services, and Medical Affairs initiatives, in partnership with relevant functional, Legal, Compliance, and data-governance stakeholders
Sales Force Effectiveness & Incentives
- Oversee sales force sizing, alignment, and productivity optimization
- Lead incentive compensation design, governance, and performance evaluation
- Direct targeting and segmentation strategies through CRM system across field and omnichannel engagement
- Deliver insights to enhance execution and field effectiveness
Data Strategy & Technology Enablement
- Lead North America's business data and insights strategy, in partnership with Global, Technology, and Data Governance teams, to ensure fit-for-purpose access to internal and external data ecosystems
- Lead development of scalable data infrastructure, analytics platforms, and reporting tools
- Champion adoption of AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics capabilities
- Ensure compliance with global data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR)
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner with Commercial, Medical, Market Access, Finance, and leaders in the RRD Global Organization
- Manage relationships with data vendors and external analytics partners
- Drive integration of insights across all customer and patient touchpoints
- Evaluate and implement new tools, data sources, and methodologies
Organizational Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing analytics and insights organization
- Develop talent across analytics, data science, and business intelligence disciplines
- Foster a culture of innovation, rigor, and collaboration
- Establish best practices for governance, delivery, and stakeholder engagement
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred
- 15+ years' experience in commercial analytics, sales, operations or related strategic roles within pharma/biotech required
- Experience leading analytics through launches and lifecycle management
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional transformation
- Experience working in a matrixed global organization
- Experience in rare disease a plus

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Based upon job requirements, employee may be required at times to attend meetings including travel out of state over weekends and nights. Employee must be able to freely operate and travel by car and train/plane modes of transportation. Employee is required to have a valid driver's license and means of transportation.
Physical Demands
The employee must be able to fly via commercial air carrier. This role is a mixture of sedentary and mobile work; the employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Occasionally is required to lift and/or move light to moderate weight up to 25 lbs.
Location and Travel
- This position is based at RRD's Headquarters in Bridgewater, NJ.
- Approximately 20% of travel is required, including occasional overnight and weekend travel, based on business needs.
Pay and Benefits
- Base Salary Range: $212,000 to $328,000 annually. The actual base salary offered may vary based on factors including the candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, skills, internal equity, business needs, and geographic location, where applicable.
- Annual Incentive: This position is eligible to participate in the Company's annual bonus program, subject to the terms of the applicable plan and individual eligibility requirements.
