Responsibilities
- Serve as the School's principal financial advisor to the Dean and senior leadership team
- Develop and implement financial and business strategies aligned with the school’s strategic plan
- Lead multi-year financial planning and forecasting linked with accreditation standards
- Identify and develop new revenue streams and negotiate contracts with external entities
- Oversee and mentor department administrators and operational heads
- Continuously monitor and assess the school's financial and business performance through data sources and stakeholder interactions
- Develop key performance metrics and financial reporting to support decision-making
Qualifications
- Master's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field
- 7+ years of progressive financial/business leadership experience, preferably in higher education, academic medicine, dentistry, or healthcare
- Strong knowledge of accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls
- Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial audiences
- Experience with Workday or other enterprise accounting systems
