Vice Dean for Finance and Administration

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the School's principal financial advisor to the Dean and senior leadership team
  • Develop and implement financial and business strategies aligned with the school’s strategic plan
  • Lead multi-year financial planning and forecasting linked with accreditation standards
  • Identify and develop new revenue streams and negotiate contracts with external entities
  • Oversee and mentor department administrators and operational heads
  • Continuously monitor and assess the school's financial and business performance through data sources and stakeholder interactions
  • Develop key performance metrics and financial reporting to support decision-making

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field
  • 7+ years of progressive financial/business leadership experience, preferably in higher education, academic medicine, dentistry, or healthcare
  • Strong knowledge of accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial audiences
  • Experience with Workday or other enterprise accounting systems
