About the role

We are seeking a Vibration Technician for our Taylor, MI location. On‑the‑job training will be provided as required.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the senior vibration technician to test and analyze spindles, ensuring vibration levels are within tolerance and set up run‑off for finished product.
• Analyze vibration data to determine fault frequencies of bearing systems.
• Perform field balancing as required.
• Occasionally travel to customer sites to perform on‑site vibration analysis.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent; an electro‑mechanical associate’s degree or equivalent work experience is a plus.
• Certified in vibration analysis.
• Two years of experience as a Vibration Technician preferred.
• Proficiency with Emerson (CSI) 2120/2130/2140 is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, use precision measuring devices, and knowledge of bearing assemblies.
• Knowledge of servo spindle drives is considered a plus.
• Strong mechanical understanding of industrial equipment.
• Troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• No lifting restrictions.
