Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Create a quality product.
• Participate in training to produce a quality product and use preventative measures to meet customer requirements and Tenneco standards.
• Comply with legal and other requirements to avoid injury to oneself and others.
• Understand and create a safe environment by identifying potential emergency situations and reporting incidents to supervisor/manager.
• Adhere to the facility's quality, environmental, health, and safety policies.
• Read routers and production schedules for product specifications such as dimensions, tolerance, and number of parts to be processed and when.
• Read special instructions as required.
• Record information for inspection and production using various forms, logs, and computer systems.
• Maintain product quality by monitoring and setting up equipment, working on moving mechanical parts daily.
• Analyze and monitor scrap and nonconforming parts using statistical data to determine cause of failure.
• Operate centerless grinders and overhead hoists, hand jacks.
• Load and unload various types of containers.
