Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between VetEvolve and veterinary students, clubs, professors and university personnel.
• Brainstorm ideas with VetEvolve contact person to create educational, engaging and unique events for students.
• Cover all aspects of event coordination and execution, including in-person one-on-one meetings, virtual events, advertising events to the student body, assisting with catering as needed.
• Manage attendance expectations for all events hosted by VetEvolve in all settings.
• Promote student knowledge of, and participation in, our externship program.
• Absorb and share information about our family of hospitals, leaders, and staff.

Qualifications

• 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year students.
• Currently enrolled and actively engaged in the student community.
• Willing to interact with others outside of their respective class.
• Not be employed with another veterinary group as a student ambassador.
• Be in good academic standing at their university.

Benefits

• $750 per semester compensation.
• All externship travel is covered for ambassadors to VetEvolve hospitals.
