About the role
VEG was founded in 2014 with a mission to improve the emergency veterinary experience. Since then, VEG has grown to offer 24/7, 365-day-a-year hospitals across the country, enhancing the care for both people and their pets, as well as creating a supportive work environment for its employees.
The program
VEG provides a hands-on, immersive Veterinary Technician Student Externship Program. This program allows students to gain real-world experience alongside credentialed emergency veterinary technicians, covering areas such as patient triage, outpatient visits, diagnostics, anesthesia, and inpatient care.
